Cost guide

How much does a vinyl fence cost?

Vinyl fence cost depends on six things. Here's what moves the price of an installed fence, so the number on your quote makes sense before you see it.

Price factors

Six things that set vinyl fence installation cost.

  1. 01

    Length of the run

Fence is priced by the linear foot, so the total length is the biggest number on any quote. Corners and end posts add a little on top.

  2. 02

    Style and height

A 6-ft solid privacy panel uses more material than a 4-ft picket or a 3-rail ranch fence. Taller and more solid costs more per foot.

  3. 03

    Gates

Each gate is its own line item. A walk gate is simple; a wide double drive gate or an automated slide gate is a bigger piece of the budget.

  4. 04

    Ground and access

Slopes, oak roots, old fence removal and tight side yards all add labor. We look at all of it on the walk so the quote doesn't change later.

  5. 05

    Permits and HOA

Most cities in the area require a fence permit, and many HOAs require approval first. We include the permit in the quote and tell you what the ARB will ask for.

  6. 06

    Color

White is usually the base price. Tan, khaki and gray can cost a bit more depending on the profile.

Questions

Cost questions, answered.

How much does a 100-foot vinyl fence cost?

It depends on the style, height and gates, so two 100-foot runs can be priced very differently. A 100-foot run of 4-ft picket uses far less material than 100 feet of 6-ft solid privacy, and each gate is its own line item. Old fence removal, slopes and roots add labor. We measure your exact run on site and price it on one itemized quote, free.

How do I estimate vinyl fence installation cost for my yard?

Start with the total length in feet, since vinyl fence is priced by the linear foot. Then note the style and height you want, how many gates you need and how wide they are, and anything that adds labor: an old fence to remove, slopes, roots or tight side yards. Add the permit and any HOA review. Those are the same lines on our itemized quote.

Why won't you quote a fence price over the phone?

Two yards with the same footage can cost very different amounts once you add gates, slopes, roots and old fence removal. A short on-site visit lets us measure every run and check the ground, so the number on your quote is one that won't change when the crew arrives.

Is a vinyl fence more expensive than wood in Florida?

Vinyl usually costs more to install than wood. Wood rots and warps in Florida humidity, while vinyl never needs staining, painting or board replacement, so many owners come out ahead over the life of the fence. At your consult we can talk through the trade-off for your yard and how long you plan to stay.

Do you charge for a fence estimate?

No. The on-site consult and the itemized quote are free, with no obligation. We measure your property, walk the fence line with you, talk through styles and colors, and send one quote that covers materials, labor, the permit and the timeline. You decide from there, with no pressure to sign on the day.

Can I finance a vinyl fence?

Yes. Financing is available on approved credit. Ask during your free estimate and we'll go through the options with your itemized quote in hand, so you can see what spreading the cost out would look like before you decide on a style or a start date.
